Impeller Speed Calculation / Supercharger Gear Ratios

Easily calculate your impeller speed, at a given engine RPM, using the following formula :

Impeller RPM = (Crank Pulley diameter / Supercharger Pulley diameter * Gear ratio * Engine RPM)

(Reference – some gear ratios)
3.05 – 64/ 21 Cog – BD-11A
3.36 – 74/ 22 T – P600B / M1 / P1R fine tooth – straight cut
3.05 – 55/ 18 T – P600B / M1 / P1R coarse tooth – straight cut
3.44 – 93/ 27 T – XB-1A – straight cut
3.44 – 93/ 27 T – NOVI 1500 – straight cut
3.44 – 93/ 27 T – V1, V5, V7 – straight cut
3.45 – 69/ 20 T – V4 – HD straight cut (0.70″ width)
3.50 – 105/30 T – Paxton NOVI 2000, 2500, 1000 – helical
3.61 – 83/ 23 T – V2, V3, V5, V9 – helical
3.61 – 83/ 23 T – Vortech V7 / NOVI 2200 – helical
3.61 – 83/ 23 T – Paxton NOVI 1200 – helical

4.08 – 98/ 24 T – P1SC, D1SC, M3SC – straight cut
4.09 – 94/ 23 T – P1SC, D1SC, M3SC – helical
4.44 – 80/ 18 T – D1 oil fed – straight cut
4.45 – 98/ 22 T – Torque Storm – straight cut
4.70 – 80/ 17 T – C1 / C2 – helical

* Our opinion – For longer life, never spin ANY unit past 50K (and even that can be too fast for some models), no matter what the “rating” is.
